Become A Big Daddy For Real! No... Seriously.

Ever wanted to roam the streets groaning 'Uuuurrgghh', and pretending that you are feared by every mortal creature around you?

Well then, as Professor Farnsworth of Futurama might say, "Good news everyone!". 2K are running a competition which allows a lucky winner to bag the real Big Daddy suit used part of the marketing campaign for BioShock 2 as well as $5000, (presumably to be used as a down payment for a rivet gun or similar?).

In order to enter this competition 2K have asked gamers to "create a video including the craziest, most ridiculous, most outrageous BioShock 2 gameplay footage you can create, capture, and edit".

2K have provided details on how best to capture your footage over at their website (http://www.bioshock2game.com/contest/index.html) as well as an example video of the kind of things they're looking for.

They also give details of the every present, and ever annoying legal strings as to who is eligible to enter, but fear not, it's quite inclusive (with a few odd exclusions);

Entrants must be (i) legal residents of the United States (who are not residents of Arizona, Connecticut, Maryland, North Dakota or Vermont), Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland, and (ii) 18 years of are on date of entry if a resident of the United States or (iii) 18 years of age on the date of entry for residents of all other countries. United States entrants who are minors must have permission from their parents or legal guardians in order to participate.
This is just a small extract of the contest rules and regulations. I strongly urge you to head to the link given at the of this article to read them in full for yourself. They're huge and worth reading (for example, any video using copyrighted music is disqualified instantly).

The other key important slices of information are that; the competition runs from 12:01 AM ET on April 28, 2010, and ends 11:59:59 PM ET on June 7, 2010. All entries must be uploaded to the dedicated Youtube channel created by 2K (http://www.youtube.com/2kgames).

Look at this way, if you win, there's your Halloween costume sorted from now until the end of time.
