Only a few days ago, we brought you the first trailer
of Eidos Montréal and Square Enix's reboot of the popular Thief
series, featuring charismatic protagonist, Garrett, in action.
We can now follow that trailer with a whole heap of screens for the title. The first set shows Garrett doing what he does best: sneaking, fighting, sneaking, stealing, sneaking, dousing torches with water arrows, sneaking, picking locks, sneaking, scaling walls and sneaking.
The next set show off some of the various locations in the game, which continues the dark, steam-punk aesthetics of its predecessors. In these images we see everything from dilapidated warehouses, to the mechanical inner workings of a clock tower, to the lavish homes of the elite.
Finally we take a look at some of the models for the game, including Garrett himself, a soldier who doesn't realise that a big shield is no defence against a sneaky blackjack to the back of the head, and a closer look at the bow and some of the iconic arrows from Garrett's arsenal.Thief
is due for a 2014 release. Whether this will include the Xbox 360 as well as the next-gen consoles is still unknown.
