Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Hits the Jetstream

By Rebecca Smith, 5 years ago
The main Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance storyline focused on Raiden, but there was another swordsman that made an appearance in the game. Samuel Rodrigues, otherwise known as the ‘Cool Brazilian wind’, brought error and chaos with him as he travelled through the ranks of the Latin American underworld. He defeated many of the world's outlaws and left them in pieces during his training, but now he has arrived in Denver, Colorado, in "Jetstream".

The content adds another chapter to the main game as players investigate Sam's motivation and his origins. Sam will be guided through his skill tests as he challenges the "World Marshall" and becomes Raiden's rival. His story blends into Raiden's plot lines as players complete the new stages.

If the Playstation 3 version of the game is anything to go by, the DLC adds four achievements for an unknown amount of gamerscore. We can't be certain on the gamerscore total as the achievements have not yet added to Those of you who unlock the achievements now will notice that they are not being added to your gamerscore or achievement total. I would advise gamers not to play the DLC before the achievements are added correctly. Unfortunately, those of you who unlock the achievements beforehand will have to recover your gamertag and then earn the achievements again for them to be added to your gamerscore.
