I might bite at Catan.. I would go for Kinect Party, but that 6 player achievement sounds annoying.
I got Kinect Party for free. I still don't get why people don't get these games when they are free. Even if you don't want the game now, just get it so it's on your account.

thats like saying, Getting to work FREE--with purchase of a car.
you still have to pay for PS+
Still have to pay for petrol and road tax for said car in order to get to work for FREE.

Xbox GOLD still gets paid just like PS+ gets paid, yet one gives you these games for free while the other gives you a discount.

Anyway Mass Effect 3 DLC please :)
One also lets you play games online while the other one lets you do that for free (without the subscription). All those free games you get on PS+ expire when you don't resubscribe too, so if say you were interested in signing up to that service for those games, you'll only get a month to keep them if you don't opt to get the 12 month service.

It is a good service, but you just have to keep resubscribing in order to keep the stuff you get free. And I think you can only have something like up to 14 free games at a time on your console?

Also, getting to work FREE--with purchase of a car.. doesn't make sense, you still have to pay for fuel and insurance when you have a car, so you aren't technically getting there for free.
I'm glad someone pointed out that PS+ titles are not exactly free. If you don't resubscribe to a service that basically sells itself on the promise of free games, you lose said free games. PS+ is NOT the fantastic, amazing, Xbox LIVE beater that everybody assumes it is.
Yeah but if you were getting a constant stream of free games every month why on earth would you stop paying the subs?? On top of that once I've played a game I get shut of it .... no point virtually hoarding something that I'll never play again, physical copy or not

You can call it a rental service if you like but considering loads of Xbox gamers rent a lot of what they play anyway then what's the difference? Do you get that emotional about not being able to play a game any more once you've returned the game back to Blockbusters / Gamefly / Lovefilm / wherever?

I don't own a PS3 but even I can see that it's FAR better value for money than XBL
Some people may stop resubscribing because of financial reasons, or they want to save up for something big. It's just, say you got Dead or Alive 5 with PS Plus and it was one of your favorite games, if you decided to stop using the service and didn't want to put down that game, then you'll either have to resubscribe or purchase the game.

It's a good service, but just has it's cons like everything else does.

After checking in on my XBox Rewards for anyone that might have been on the fence like I was on how things work. I think but don't quote me that if you bought a XBLA Game on sale it still counts as if you bought it for full price. (Very Nice perk there Microsoft) I bought Dust: An Elysian Tail, Duke Nukem Manhattan Project, Trine 2 and Hell Yeah: Wrath of the Dead Rabbit this month. And Hell Yeah was on sale for 480 MSP last week. After checking in on the rewards site it not only credited me as buying four XBLA Games for 800 points, but also credited me as buying the 400 MSP required games. So if anyone was still wondering about that it's a good idea to grab those 1200 and 1600 priced games when they're on sale and enjoy your free month of XBox Live and your free MSP
Whoo! Where's my autograph book? Ha! Power Rangers, huh? So, Zordon's still using a bunch of kids

From Dust is worth it's actual price, never mind the sale! I actually got a cheap disc version together with Beyond Good & Evil and Outland. I quite liked Quantum Conundrum too.

So could somebody please confirm if buying Quantum Conundrum at 480msp gives a punch on the right of the table of reward for April (=buy a game at 800msp).
Or only a punch in the middle?

The middle card is for buying games at 400 MSP or higher. The right card is just for spending MSP on games period. It's cumulative. so if you spent 400 200 200 800 you'd have two filled in. If you then bought 4 more 400 point games you'd get another 2 and fill in the card.

Thanks for mentioning the xbox rewards part, i've apparently been a member since september 2011 (don't even remember signing up lol) but haven't checked in on it in forever. To my surprise i already had one punchcard done and the other two cards half way done. Sure glad i know about it now!

I downloaded the trial for "From Dust" and it's decent. However, the cut scenes and loading scenes are very slow and choppy. Is this normal? I've downloaded twice to be sure, and it's really annoying.

i got most of these free on ps+
Haha I feel sorry for PS owners if this is the type of free crap they get. I'd rather have nothing at all than something I know I'll never play wasting space on my HDD.
