For some of you this may be a surprise, for others this may inspire shock, and for some this may be the moment where you tell the person you love the most, "Once this game is released, you may see me in a few months." This could also just be a moment where you start counting how many Call of Duties have been released. To ease your pain, here is the answer including the new installment, Call of Duty: Ghosts, ten.

With the recent leak for the poster and the subsequent rumour mill spinning its slick webs, Activision has released a teaser trailer that details the hopeful return of the shadowy-awesomeness of the character "Ghost" and that the full reveal will be on the same date, and will be featured in the "Next-gen reveal for the new Xbox" on May 21st.

Furthermore, Mark Rubin, Executive Producer and Developer at Infinity Ward, stated in an interview with Forbes, that this is not Modern Warfare 4:

Everyone was expecting us to make Modern Warfare 4, which would have been the safe thing to do. But we’re not resting on our laurels. We saw the console transition as the perfect opportunity to start a new chapter for Call of Duty. So we’re building a new sub-brand, a new engine, and a lot of new ideas and experiences for our players. We can’t wait to share them with our community.
We will learn more about Call of Duty: Ghosts at the reveal on May 21st, but Infinity Ward has announced that it will release November 5th.
