After a series of teases yesterday, Bethesda turned to the fine folks at GameSpot to reveal their newest production, being developed by MachineGames (established in 2009 by the founders of Starbreeze Studios), Wolfenstein: The New Order

Set in an alternate 1960 (an alternate future where the Nazis won WWII), The New Order is being billed as a "reimagining" of the Wolfenstein franchise.

Jens Matthies, creative director at MachineGames is excited to bring their take on Wolfenstein to gamers:

We are excited to bring a new chapter of Wolfenstein to gamers everywhere. As fans of the series, working on this game is an honor, and our team is driven to create an unforgettable action-adventure experience that will make FPS fans proud.
We've also got the reveal trailer.

Bethesda has said that more details will be released on the return of B.J. Blazkowicz later this week.

Wolfenstein: The New Order is set for a Q4 release in 2013 on the Xbox 360 and "next-gen consoles".
