With Capcom's latest survival horror title Resident Evil Revelations begins to shuffle its way into stores across various regions this week, the developer released the latest in the series of case files, and has announced some new DLC packs which bring new weapon upgrades and playable characters to the game.

To begin today's media bundle we have the latest video in the series of Case files. Following on from the clip released yesterday, we now have Case File #8 which is simply entitled 'Shock', and continues the Blair Witch style of footage.

The first of the DLC to be released will enable certain weapons to be upgraded. The two packs, called the 'Resistance Set' and the 'Enhancement Set' each bring six weapon upgrades although which weapons will be upgraded and how has not yet been revealed. Both packs will be available from June 4th, and will cost 160 MSP.

A further set of DLC will also be made available featuring two new playable characters for Raid Mode. 'Rachael Ooze' is the infected mutation of the mysterious blonde, and 'Lady Hunk' who is a female version of one of the series favourites, Hunk. Images of both characters are shown just below. Each character can be purchased individually from June 11th, costing 240 MSP.

The final piece of announced DLC brings weapon upgrades for the characters Jill Valentine, Parker Luciani, and Jessica Sherawat. Again, the exact details of each of the upgrades has been detailed, however each of these packs will be available individually from June 18th, costing 80 MSP.
