Last month, Harmonix revealed the sad new that the "Metallica 01 Pack" for Rock Band
was pulled from the Marketplace
due to the expiration of the licenses for those songs. They also promised at that time to inform us when further tracks would be delisted. Unfortunately, the time has once again arrived for songs to get pulled, so HMX has released a list of what songs are soon to disappear. They are listed below, along with links to download each tune.
All of these songs cost 80 MSP each, except "Promised Land", which is free. As a word of advice, make sure to check that the song you're downloading works with the version of Rock Band
you're downloading it for. Another thing to keep in mind is that "Promised Land" is required to obtain the following Rock Band 3
achievement, meaning that once it's pulled, the achievement (if you do not have the song) will be unobtainable unless patched.
As long as you've downloaded the song, however, you'll have no issues.
"Bullets & Guns" and "Moving to Seattle" are part of the "MTV2 Pack 01" along with The Myriad's "A Clean Shot". The pack can be downloaded here
for 240 MSP. Though Harmonix did not expressly say so, it's likely this pack will be removed as well, though "A Clean Shot" will still be available as a single.
These tracks will no longer be available after June 30th, so if you want them in your library, be sure to grab them soon. If you already own the song, you can of course still play it, and you will be able to redownload it should you lose the DLC.
