Konami and acclaimed video game creator, Hideo Kojima, held a Pre-E3 press conference to unleash upon the world of gaming some excellent details regarding Metal Gear Solid V
During the interview, Kojima explained why Hollywood actor and star of 24, Kiefer Sutherland, would be taking over the role of Solid Snake and replacing fan favourite, David Hayter, for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Kojima stated that since The Phantom Pain takes place in 1984 and, Snake is 49 years old, that for the purpose of facial/motion capturing, voice acting, and all-around performance, that Sutherland was an excellent fit.
