Star Wars: Battlefront Announced

By Marc Caccamise, 3 years ago
At their E3 press conference, EA officially announced a new Star Wars: Battlefront title being developed by DICE. The game was shown off in a short teaser-trailer and will utilize EA's Frostbite 3 engine.

For many, a console sequel to the Battlefront series has been a long time coming, with Battlefront 2 being the last console release back in 2005. Judging from the video it appears to be a segment from the Battle of Hoth, possibly alluding to the game being set during the original trilogy.

Not much about the game is known at this time, including what consoles the game will release on. We will continue to update as more information becomes available, so be sure to stay tuned into the TA homepage for more.
