This is the moment you've been waiting for. Lock up the basement and the front door; no-one's coming in. Time for time trials, I'm getting ready (baby). I'm racing all night and while everybody here is waiting to play, my high score stands all day... but maybe not any more. In one of the surprise announcements of the night, Ubisoft revealed that RedLynx has created a new challenge for you. Trials Fusion
will be arriving on Xbox One.
As well as the next generation graphics and social features, the game transports players to a new "futuristic, high-tech world". RedLynx has also introduced an FMX Physics-Driven Trick System to the game. Not only will you risk losing life and limb just getting from one end of the course to the other, you get bonus points by trying to pull off the Kiss of Death too.
If the Trials
bug has bitten deeper than you would like to admit, you now have a chance to grab a high score while out and about. Trials Frontier
is being developed for mobiles and tablets. The game will have its own storyline based on the same gameplay experienced in previous Trials
titles. There will be "friendly" competition as players can challenge the ghosts of previous runs, and regularly updated content. Neither Windows Phone 8 nor Windows 8 have not been confirmed for this title but, as the two games are designed to compliment each other and work together, there is a high chance that Frontier
will appear on at least one of these platforms.
Both games can be seen in action below.
Of course, if you're not planning on hitting the next generation of consoles immediately, Trials Fusion
will also be available on the Xbox 360. Both titles are due to be released in 2014.
