Magic: The Gathering - DotP 2014 Gameplay Trailer By Dread Reaver, 13 Jun 2013 FollowtopicsMagic 2014 - Duels of the PlaneswalkersWizards of the CoastOnline Co-opCollectable Card Game We know you're a Magic: The Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalkers fan; that's why you have already watched the trailer, and now you are ready to find out how the sealed deck system will work in Magic The Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers 2014. In the event you are at work, and there are prying eyes everywhere, here is the rundown: The sealed deck format will work the same way it does for the real-world variant of Magic: The Gathering; players are given six sealed packs containing 14 cards each to start with, but they don't know which cards they will contain. When they open the packs, players can pick up to 40 cards from this pool to play with, based on what they think will be effective. As they progress through the campaign, players can obtain a further three booster packs to add to their card pool. The deck editor makes it easy to completely customize the exact composition of your deck, which differs from previous Duels of the Planeswalkers games in which decks were largely prefabricated. Decks can be named for easy reference, and can be used in the single player campaign, as well as in online duels. However, the coolest feature of the new deck editor is the ability to automatically generate a deck based on a favorite card, or series of cards, that you like to play with. This ensures your deck is rounded out with complimentary cards and just the right number of land cards. Nobody want's to experience mana burn, after all.In regards to the campaign itself, you will face off against five enemy decks, each representing one of the five colors in the Magic universe; i.e. red, green, blue, white and black.Magic: The Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalkers 2014 will cast a spell on the XBLA marketplace this Summer. We've got the full list of Magic 2014 - Duels of the Planeswalkers achievements - check the list for guides to unlocking them.More Magic 2014 - Duels of the Planeswalkers stories: Magic: The Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 and More Now Backward Compatible Wednesday XBL Content Roundup: January 8th, 2014 Wednesday XBL Content Roundup: December 4th, 2013 Wednesday XBL Content Roundup: November 6th, 2013 Magic: The Gathering - DotP 2014 Expands VideoUpcoming ReleaseXBLA
