Payday 2 Screens Steal The Spotlight

By Mark Delaney, 4 years ago
You'd be forgiven if you've never heard of Payday 2. As a formerly-arcade-turned-retail sequel to a PSN/PC game, it's not like the series got a lot of discussion here on TA to date. If you've played the original, you know that the "Left 4 Dead but bank robbers" premise was fun and flawed at once. With the sequel coming to retail stores now, chances are this bigger sequel will also be much better. If nothing else, the visuals are much improved as you can see below in this new set of four screens.

Just like their Valve-developed inspiration, Overkill Software looks to broaden their sequel's mission structure. Payday 2 releases this August.
