UK Deal Roundup for July 9th, 2013

By Keith Gray, 5 years ago
Welcome to another edition of the UK Deal Roundup. An eventful six weeks have passed since the last Roundup saw the light of day on May 28th. During that time, yours truly and my fellow Newshounds have mulled over a potential format change for the UK Deals. Ultimately, the decision has been made to stick with the format that everyone knows; however, the emphasis in future will be on quality over quantity. With that in mind, the deals that feature from now may look a little sparse, but the article will only include titles that, at the time of writing, have a score of 3.5 out of 5 stars as voted by the TA community.

Amazon, ShopTo, TheHut and Zavvi bring the most deals, as is the norm these days. ASDA highlights an XBLA story-telling wonder that has been so successful that it's now available in retail format. Blockbuster brings in the big guns with two killer titles, and SimplyGames combines a shooter and a racing title. Tesco unleashes the best deals of the bunch with some of the most lauded titles of the past 18 months.

As always, clicking a game title will take you to that game's achievement list. Clicking on a retailer's name will take you to the homepage of their respective website, and from there you can simply search for the item of choice. Please see the notes at the bottom of the article for additional pricing information. All prices are correct at the time of writing, and subject to change at any time at the retailer's discretion.

All other price-matching is indicated by [insert retailer name here].
