, the 4-player co-op heist title from OVERKILL Software, is all set to bring the special "skills" that are required for bank robbing to consoles next month. 505 Games, the title's publisher, has released a new trailer today. David Goldfarb, the Game Director for the title, explains how the sequel introduces customisation options that are far superior to its predecessor, the original Payday
. As a result, the game will have more of an RPG-feel to it with the opportunity to alter masks, weapons and other gadgets to make life as a career criminal in Washington that much easier.
Goldfarb also emphasises later in the footage that players are actively encouraged to execute the heist with their buddies, in co-op, as the game will be more difficult otherwise. As you'll see from the control commands in the video, the footage is taken from the PC version of Payday 2
The action will soon come knocking on the disc tray of your Xbox 360, so you should probably take a look at the pre-order bonuses
that are available to ensure that you are prepared when Payday 2
picks the lock on your wallet in August.
