Sure, there is close to a year until the 2014 FIFA World Cup starts, but why not get Brazil crazy a little earlier? EA Sports have confirmed that they have secured licensing deals with 19 of Brazil's top football clubs for the upcoming FIFA 14, adding to the already impressive 600 clubs that the game will feature. This deal ensures that you will be able to wear authentic Brazilian club crests, and take control of Brazilian kits and players in-game.

FIFA 14 will have nearly double the Brazilian clubs that were in FIFA 13, including 18 teams from the Série A. These are Atlético Mineiro, Atlético Paranaense, Botafogo, Coritiba, Criciúma, Cruzeiro, Flamengo, Fluminense, Goiás, Grêmio, Internacional, Náutico, Palmeiras, Ponte Preta, Portuguesa, Santos, São Paulo, Vasco da Gama, and Vitória. The entire roster, including members of these teams, now come to 16,000 players!

The FIFA franchise Executive Producer David Rutter was pleased to announce the deal:
We’re very excited to bring the stars of the top Brazilian clubs into our games. For all our fans that support and love Brazilian football, this will only add to the authentic FIFA experience they enjoy, and the additional clubs will bring undiscovered players from Brazil into the FIFA Ultimate Team universe.
We are also promised that new league and club licenses will be announced before the Xbox 360 version of FIFA 14 is released in North America on September 24th, and worldwide on September 27th. The Xbox One version is teased for release later in the year.
