Fans who cannot wait until the Xbox One version of the latest offering in the Madden
franchise Madden NFL 25
hits the shelves, may be tempted to pick up the Xbox 360 version which is released slightly sooner. However, if you're a fan of the Ultimate Team mode, this could present a dilemma, as you might be faced with the prospect of managing two ultimate teams on two different consoles.
Happily, EA have announced plans that will solve this problem and will allow players to make the transition from the current-gen version of the game, to the next-gen version. Players will be able to make a one-time transfer of up to 1100 items from their MUT club (including 45 players and 55 items from the active roster, and up to 1000 reserves) to the Xbox One version of the title. All of the transferred items will then be available for use in the next-gen version with one small caveat that it will not be possible to trade or sell these transferred items in the auction place.
Additionally, EA have also announced a further bonus for those players owning the anniversary edition of the title. Those players will be awarded an extra six Ultimate Team All-Pro packs when they start building their Ultimate Team in the Xbox One version giving their new team a quick boost.Madden NFL 25
will be available on the Xbox 360 from August 27th, with the exact date for the Xbox One version still to be announced.
