EA Sports Reveals First Four Slots for All-25 Team

Two days ago, we covered the reveal of Madden NFL 25's All-25 team, an all-star squad of players chosen for their past or present stardom in the Madden series. This week, the first few positions have been revealed for the historic team.

First, at runningback, we have Rams legend Marshall Faulk, and at at fullback, it's former Buccaneer Mike Alstott.

On the other side of the ball, two active players make the roster. Bookending the defensive line are Julius Peppers and Dwight Freeney. We'll update the story when the video releases, likely later today.

The most exciting thing for football fans may be that whether the players are active or retired, their stats will reflect them at their Madden prime. For example, though Peppers is still in the league, the version of him on the All-25 team is from Madden 2006 during his Panthers days. Surely to have active players on the team cuts EA's prices down due to them not having to acquire the rights to former players like Reggie White. Hopefully the rest of the list reflects something worthy of the All-25 name.

Madden NFL 25 releases on August 27th for Xbox 360 and later this football season for Xbox One.
