Ubisoft has unveiled some finer points on how guitar lessons will work in the upcoming Rocksmith 2014 Edition
, ranging from how to strap up, how to plug in and tune your prized axe, and even advanced techniques like tapping.
Not content to rest on their laurels, Ubisoft has rebuilt the game from scratch for this sequel and stated that the enhanced lessons will give players much more feedback and assistance compared to the first game. It will be just like having a tireless guitar teacher on-call in your living room!
The number of video lessons has effectively tripled while also being recorded in much higher quality and given multiple angles to help you really see what's going on. More importantly, the lessons are now highly interactive and provide much more useful feedback. It's no longer a case of monkey-see-monkey-do; if the game notices that you are not performing some certain technique correctly, it will let you know what the problem is and then pull you out of that particular tutorial into another one so that you can perfect the basics.
