Yesterday, EA announced some important news for Battlefield 4
players. If you purchase the Xbox 360 version, and then later get the Xbox One version, all of your stats will transfer to the new console. This means that your rank, any custom gear you've unlocked, and those kill/death ratios that you hold near and dear will go next-gen with you.
In additional news, EA revealed that Premium Membership will be returning for the new title. Premium Membership will include all DLC expansion packs, customization options, and new content delivered weekly. Some of you will find it important that if you purchase Premium Membership for the Xbox 360, it also transfers over to the Xbox One if you buy that version. Pricing has yet to be confirmed for Battlefield 4
Premium Membership, but one might expect it will be offered at a discount over buying the digital content individually.
Don't forget preordering gets you the "China Rising" DLC for free
releases on the Xbox 360 on October 29th in North America and November 1st in Europe. There is no confirmed release date for the Xbox One at this time, but you'll know as soon as there is.
