Disney Interactive and Avalanche Software have revealed the sixth Play Set that will join the fun in Disney Infinity
. Characters from the Toy Story
franchise, including Buzz Lightyear and Jessie, will be available for purchase to join the other cartoon characters who have already been announced. The "Toy Story in Space" Play Set is scheduled for release in October.
In addition to announcing the Toy Story
Play Set, Disney have released another bunch of videos to demonstrate the creation options that are available in the title. The first video showcases how Physics Blocks can be used to build and destroy in equal measure. Dash from the Incredibles
then shows, in the second video, how the Dual Action Trigger needs two inputs to create a resulting firework display.
The next three trailers feature the options that are available to allow gamers to build their very own Race Track, and Soccer Stadium, as well as showing how a ESPN-inspired Stunt Park can be utilised.
The penultimate piece of footage explains how to turn the Toybox sandbox landscape into something straight out of your favourite Disney
movie. In this example, a Wreck-it Ralph
theme is created.
The final trailer is likely to strike a cord with lovers of retro gaming. The footage demonstrates how to add a side-scrolling camera feature to give the impression that you are playing an old-fashioned 2D platformer.
