announced some features and improvements they're bringing to the table in this rendition. 2 vs. 2 Tag Mode
The fans begged for this, and the developer listened. The tag-team mode will have a separate leaderboard and count double in regards to earning Grade Points.Prized Fighter Ranking
You'll earn ranks of Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum based on your ranked match winning streak. These levels award you additional Grade Points which can be used to unlock costumes. There's also a Grade Point bonus awarded if you defeat another player on a winning streak or move up to the next Prized Fighter level.Character Points
This feature ranks each player according to how well they do with each individual character. In online matches, you'll be able to see your opponent's Character Points as well. There will also be world rankings based on each character.Costumes
Many gamers take pride on the number of unlockables they are able to attain. There will be 231 costumes included initially for you to attain. That is more than double the number of Dead or Alive 5
Tecmo Koei stated that changes have been made to the online modes, "providing a smoother experience regardless of the player’s network connection, and cutting search times to find opponents for ranked matches and unranked throw downs".
