Mages has announced that Taiwanese developer, International Games System (IGS) is working on a new 2D platformer for release on the XBL Arcade. Constant C
relies on "gravity change and the time field" mechanics to provide engaging and challenging puzzle-based environments.
The publisher has detailed a synopsis of the game's background story, as well as unveiling two gameplay trailers to showcase the title's main character manipulating objects in the surroundings to allow the player-controlled robot to reach its goal.
In a distant future, a scientific research devoted to the Superluminal Space Station had an accident, the time inside the space station has been completely suspended. Players play a Crisis Rescue Robot equipped with a rotating gravity remote and an ability to make time re-flow locally. In order to prevent enlargement, the player must pass various chellenge to repair the space station. Progressing through the game, players will unlock cutscenes and get a better understanding of the Space Station before the disaster occurred, as well as the secret behind the incident
is scheduled to arrive in Japan on the XBL Arcade in "early 2014". No confirmation, or denial, has been issued in relation to whether the game is likely to be released in other territories.
