Ubisoft and RedLynx have announced the Trials World Championship of 2013, a competition to discover the best Trials Evolution player in the world.

World Championships

In order to enter, competitors will need to download and set a time on an official qualifier track, which can be found in the game's Track Central. The first, entitled 'TWC 1', is available to download now, while the second track, 'TWC 2', is set to be released on September 18th. The top six eligible players on each track will then qualify for the semi-finals.

In the semi-finals, players will take part in 1v1v1 super-cross matches, with the winner of each heat making their way to the Grand Final, which will take part in a live round at Paris Games Week. The top four in each bracket (one for the Xbox 360 version and one for the PC version) will win a trip to Paris and will face off against each other for the chance to be crowned the 2013 World Champion of Trials.

The champion will win a high-end PC and will have a statue created of themselves, which will then be found in the next Trials game, Trials Fusion. Second place meanwhile will win a PS4 and an Xbox One, with third place picking up either a PS4 or an Xbox One.

In order to enter, you must be 18 years old or above and must be from one of the following countries: United States of America, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Australia, Canada, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Japan. The full list of rules can be found here.

The first qualifying track, 'TWC 1', can be found in Track Central now. To anyone entering, good luck!
