UK Deal Roundup for September 17th, 2013

By Keith Gray, 5 years ago
Welcome to another edition of the UK Deal Roundup. I am not sure that this week’s UK Deal Roundup has much of a purpose, to be honest. Let’s face it, there’s only one game that 99% of the gaming population is interested in today (and you know which one it is!).

In honour of one of the most anticipated gaming releases of all-time, Grand Theft Auto V, I feel the need to make a special mention that Tesco has monopolised the market by offering the best price for said title. You’ll have to part with £38 of your hard-earned cash. In reality, most gamers won’t even think twice before doing so!

If you happen to be in the minority then Amazon, Blockbuster, ShopTo, TheHut, and Zavvi offer plenty of alternatives. Unfortunately, GamesCentre fails to impress again. However, ASDA, GAME, SimplyGames, and Tesco also have a small number of deals available too.

As always, clicking a game title will take you to that game's achievement list. Clicking on a retailer's name will take you to the homepage of their respective website, and from there you can simply search for the item of choice. Please see the notes at the bottom of the article for additional pricing information. All prices are correct at the time of writing, and subject to change at any time at the retailer's discretion.

Assassin's Creed III (Classics) - £12.50
Defiance - £14.99
FIFA 14 (pre-order) - £35

There are currently no offers that meet the criteria for inclusion in the UK Deals Roundup, but there’s nothing stopping you from using the above link to take a peek for yourselves!

Dishonored - £16.85

Injustice: Gods Among Us - £19.98

TheHut and Zavvi are sister stores, so as you may expect (but surprisingly is not always the case!), a fair amount of price matching occurs. The ** markers indicate where one store has matched its counterpart.

All other price-matching is indicated by [insert retailer name here].

Please note: The deals highlighted in this article are based on the prices for purchasing new, sealed copies of the titles mentioned. Promotions on pre-owned/used titles, or deals offered by private sellers on retailers' "Marketplaces", are not considered for inclusion in the UK Deal Roundup.
