We’ve seen NBA LIVE 14
in motion with our previous coverage
of the game, though these haven’t actually featured any actual gameplay up to this point. Today EA has offered up a little teaser in the form of the first gameplay screenshot, featuring Portland Trail Blazers' Damian Lillard attempting a jump shot over cover athlete
Kyrie Irving of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
We knew NBA LIVE 14
would be a launch title
already, but now EA has confirmed it’ll be ready just a bit ahead of the release of the Xbox One console. The game will come out on a normal Tuesday release schedule in North America with the game hitting stores on November 19th. You could, I don’t know, break the seal on the game and smell the case until the system releases three days later. Assuming that the European release falls on a Friday like usual, the game should launch alongside the console on November 22nd for those in that region.
Games releasing prior to the actual console release isn’t uncommon, especially when a console doesn’t fall on the normal release date for a particular region. NBA LIVE 14
will fit in this classification as well. There will be no release of NBA LIVE 14
on current generation systems.
