Pac-Man Championship Edition DX Delisted

Here at TrueAchievements we’re always inclined to report when a game gets delisted, and although the circumstances here seem to point to a temporary removal of sorts we’ve still deemed it necessary to give you the details once again. It appears that the XBLA game Pac-Man Championship Edition DX has been gobbled up on the marketplace, at least for the time being.

Namco had just revealed that a free update and new DLC for the game would be arriving Wednesday, and that the game would now become Pac-Man Championship Edition DX+. We can deduce with relative certainty that with new content on the way this delisting is in some way instrumental to getting the DX+ upgrade onto the marketplace, so there should be no reason to panic. The trial version of the game is still available.

Pac-Man fever has been spreading quite a bit this week. Besides details for Pac-Man Championship Edition DX+ and its DLC, we’ve received screenshots and a TV Spot for the Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures game, as well as new images of the upcoming XBLA title. The free Pac-Man Championship Edition DX+ upgrade and the separate 'All You Can Eat' DLC arrives September 25th.
