UK Deal Roundup for October 1st, 2013

By Keith Gray, 3 years ago
Welcome to another edition of the UK Deal Roundup. In the aftermath of the release of Grand Theft Auto V a fortnight ago, the UK Deals return to their usual format. The Epic Deals at GAME help to recover its position in the Roundup following a disappointing outing last time. Meanwhile, ShopTo continues to outdo the other retailers; however, TheHut and Zavvi also have good offerings available. Base returns to the fold, offering a single title. Similarly, the biggest game release in a long time comes courtesy of Boomerang (a retailer that makes its first appearance in the Roundup). ASDA, SimplyGames, and Tesco offer the remainder of the deals.

As always, clicking a game title will take you to that game's achievement list. Clicking on a retailer's name will take you to the homepage of their respective website, and from there you can simply search for the item of choice. Please see the notes at the bottom of the article for additional pricing information. All prices are correct at the time of writing, and subject to change at any time at the retailer's discretion.

Notes

TheHut and Zavvi are sister stores, so as you may expect (but surprisingly is not always the case!), a fair amount of price matching occurs. The ** markers indicate where one store has matched its counterpart.

All other price-matching is indicated by [insert retailer name here].

Please note: The deals highlighted in this article are based on the prices for purchasing new, sealed copies of the titles mentioned. Promotions on pre-owned/used titles, or deals offered by private sellers on retailers' "Marketplaces", are not considered for inclusion in the UK Deal Roundup.
