If you haven't had the chance to play Deus Ex: Human Revolution
by this point, then now may be the perfect time to do so. The Director's Cut of Deus Ex: Human Revolution
is now available in North America, and will be available on October 25th in PAL territories, and is offering up much more than just a simple re-release of the game.
The Director's Cut will now incorporate SmartGlass to act as Adam Jensen's primary neural hub enhancement, thereby bringing the second-screen experience to Human Revolution
for the first time. All Human Revolution
DLCs, inlcuding both "The Missing Link"
and "Tong's Rescue", are included and integrated in a way that seamlessly flows them into the narrative. Improvements to both game mechanics and visuals have been added, as well as re-imagined boss battles, bonus weapons, and a re-balanced energy system. Plus if you still find yourself craving more after all of that, over eight hours of developer commentary has been thrown in as well.
For those that are interested in picking this up right away, Square Enix is currently offering an additional incentive, the "Fallen Angel" novella, if you buy the game from their store
The novella, created by James Swallow, the writer behind Deus Ex: Icarus Effect, tells the story of Malik just prior to the events of Human Revolution and is a must have for any Deus Ex fan.
