Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance DLC Now Free

By Marc Hollinshead, 5 years ago
We all like a good freebie. When something is permanently made free for everyone, then that's even better. Two of the three DLC packs for hack n' slash Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance have now permanently been made free as well as a permanent reduction on the game itself. You can now bag a brand new copy of the game for just $29.99 and get the "Jetstream" and "Blade Wolf" DLC's for the price of zilch. The other DLC pack offered in the game, "VR Mission Expansion" still remains at its original price point. Are you curious to check out these new freebies? I'll help you along with that decision.

The Jetstream DLC is a side story featuring Samuel Rodriguez as a playable character. It contains multiple hours of gameplay including unique abilities and characteristics for Sam, while expanding on his storyline and origins. Sam, the "cool Brazilian wind," was a lone swordsman who brought terror and chaos to the underworld in Latin America. After slashing through the world's outlaws as a part of his training, Sam arrives in Denver, Colorado. Players can find out what happens when he challenges "World Marshall" to test his skills. At last, the hidden story behind Raiden's popular rival will be revealed.
"Blade Wolf":
The Blade Wolf DLC is a side story with LQ-84i as a playable character. It features multiple hours of gameplay including unique abilities and characteristics for LQ-84i, while also expanding on each of his storylines and origins. Reactivated by Desperado Enforcement's leader Sundowner and serving under Mistral, the DLC reveals LQ-84i's story prior to him battling and eventually joining forces with Raiden and becoming Blade Wolf. Players can battle countless enemies using an arsenal of weapons and abilities, culminating in an all-new boss battle.

To summarize Marc in two words, it would be "Christian Gamer." You will usually find him getting stuck into story heavy action-adventure games, RPG's and the odd quirky title when he isn't raving about Dark Souls and Mass Effect. Outside the world of gaming, Marc attends and helps out in his church on a regular basis and has a not-so thrilling job in a supermarket.
