Several days ago we reported on the latest
news about Project Spark
. As with most of the recent developer streams, the videos below are quite long because the new game modes are explained in vivid detail.
In the video below the developers explain the new game mode, called Crossroad, in which you can quickly create your own single player adventure that you can edit while you play, or if you choose to do so you can share your creation with your friends and/or with the community. The hour long video will go through what you might expect when you create a typical adventure.
This next video features the game mode World Wizard. World Wizard allows you to edit the world around you by using four world variables. The world variables are World Shape, Landscape, Biome and Perspective. The default brains allows you to create a trigger on in-game objects, such as when your character walks across a bridge a trigger makes the character jump into the air. During the long video, the developers demonstrate the choices you have with the four world variables and they will also go through all the default brains that are available in the current game build.
Unfortunately we still do not have an official release date for Project Spark
