Ubisoft has revealed in a recent investor call that Rayman Legends
will be ported to next-generation consoles. There are no details yet whether the Xbox One version will receive any sort of upgrades or extras when the game launches early next year. You have to believe that this gorgeous game will look a bit
better on Xbox One, even if it is a straight port.
You may recall that this follow up to Rayman Origins
was originally slated as a Wii U exclusive, only to see a complete switch
which saw the game delayed from its original Wii U release and then later released simultaneously on most major platforms. Now, Rayman Legends
makes its journey to the next-generation too. In the same investor call that announced this port, Ubisoft president, Yves Guillemot, noted that sales for Rayman Legends
have been lower than their expectations. This next-gen port is sure to help bolster the profitability of the Rayman
arrives on Xbox One in February 2014. The Xbox 360 version was released in September of this year and holds a solid 4.7/5 star among community ratings.
