The upcoming third-person shooter, multiplayer-only Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare from developer PopCap Games, has seen pretty decent coverage over the last half of this year. In the newly released gameplay trailer, the game's producer, Brian Lindley, provides commentary over the gameplay as he showcases a 24-player battle in the Team Vanquish game mode. Taken from a recent press event, the video showcases plenty of upcoming third-person action as Brian takes control of different characters from each faction, showing us their offensive capabilities, strengths and weaknesses:

With more than ten maps, two multiplayer game modes 'Team Vanquish' and 'Garden & Graveyards', and even a co-op mode titled 'Garden Ops', Lindley is confident that this third-person prospective of the popular Plants vs. Zombies will be a fresh, fun, and new experience for fans and new players alike:

Gamers across the world have fallen in love with the Plants vs. Zombies characters and now they’ll get to see them in an entirely new light. Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare give the series’ fans and shooter players a fun, new experience that they’ll both enjoy as they blast, chomp and laugh their way through co-op and head-to-head online action
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is now set for release on both the Xbox One and Xbox 360 on February 18th, 2014 for North America, and February 20th for Europe.
