Friday XBL Content Roundup: November 29th, 2013

By Rebecca Smith,
Wednesday never got a roundup with the fact that this week has not seen a single new Xbox LIVE Arcade release. The drought will be due to the release of the Xbox One, but we're hoping that this doesn't mean that we won't see any new XBLA releases before the new year. Instead, today, we have the release of DLC for two retail titles. The content for both titles is region restricted although, fortunately, neither have achievements. We also have DLC for an XBLA title. This does have achievements and is available in all regions.

XBLA DLC with Achievements

State of Decay
• "State of Decay: Breakdown"
Achievements: 8 for an additional 100G
Price: US$6.99 / £5.59 / €6.99 / AU$9.35
You've survived State of Decay. Now it's time to move forward and tell your own story. Take on an endless campaign with twists and turns based entirely on your own choices. Build up your score in the face of an ever-escalating zombie threat, and compete with survivors around the world. Complete challenges to unlock new heroes with unique weapons and skills. The deeper you go, the tougher it gets, and every choice is yours.
Retail DLC without Achievements

Earth Defense Force 2025 (JP) (Japan only)
• "Additional Special Mission Pack 3 - To the Point of Despair" – ¥800

Killer is Dead (Not North America)
• "Smooth Operator Pack" – £3.39 / €4.79 / AU$4.95
The Smooth Operator Pack includes X-ray glasses along with a brand new beauty, Betty, in the sultry Gigolo mode, titillating police uniforms for Mika and Vivienne, and a brand new Episode, called The Man Who Stole Blood. A wealth of content perfect for the modern day executioner!
