For months now, Team Dakota has provided a vast amount of hour-long developer streams
showing off how to do a variety of things in their upcoming creation based game Project Spark
. Throughout that time they have also promoted a beta for Windows 8 users, which they had hoped to begin at the end of October, and then again in November, a time frame to which they had not been able to stick. However, good news on that front is finally here as Microsoft and Team Dakota have announced that the beta is open, and those who had registered to participate are beginning to receive their invitations.
The beta will be available exclusively to Windows 8 users to start, and will expand to the Xbox One early in 2014. The betas on both platforms will be available until the final product launches next year. If you're interested in participating, you still have the opportunity to sign up for the beta here
. Project Spark
does not have a confirmed release date but will be available on the Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Windows 8.
