Halo: Spartan Assault Dated for Consoles

When Halo: Spartan Assault (iOS) first released earlier this year, it caused quite a bit of questioning as to why Microsoft was releasing the game only on Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8, when it was clear a portion of gamers were going be unable to play it. These worries were put to rest when it was eventually announced that the game would be making its way to both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One sometime in December. It has now been announced that the game will be available on the Xbox One on December 24th, and will be available in January 2014 for the Xbox 360.

Both editions of the game will feature over 30 missions, an all-new online co-op mode, and the Operation Hydra expansion pack. Halo: Spartan Assault will be available via digital download for $14.99 upon release on the One. However, for those who have already purchased the game on Windows 8 or Windows Phone 8 before December 15th, the game will be available at the discounted price of $4.99.
