Capcom are attempting to renew interest in their upcoming console adaptation of the popular PC platformer Dustforce
, originally published on Steam by Australian developer Hitbox Team, by explaining just why this game will fit perfectly into the console gamer's collection.
The following trailer manages to quickly compact and explain all the game's history, style and mechanics into a brief overview, and detail just why Capcom is endeavoring to bring Dustforce
to console. This edition will come with 56 main levels, ten multiplayer stages, and over 100 more promised as free DLC. It's all a little bit Mega Man
, a teeny bit Strider
, and a touch of... Street Fighter
? Erm, their words, not mine:
After watching this, I have no doubt that you're all clamoring for your favored cleaning utensil to return that pristine shine back to the place you call home. At the very least, you are going to want to make sure your console is dust free by the time Dustforce
is released in January, 2014 for approximately $10.
