The Farm 51 Aims to Get Even

The Farm 51, developer of Deadfall Adventures and Painkiller Hell & Damnation, has announced the next title on which they are working. Get Even aims to look and play differently to the majority of first-person shooters that are already on the gaming market.

The developer aims to remove the boundary between single player and multiplayer modes and offer a combination of the two. A player may join the campaign of another player at any time and assume the role of a character that was previously controlled by AI. Few details have been revealed about the campaign but players will face a deadly foe who has his own reasons and tools to prevent players from reaching their goal.

The game will use photo-realism on a scale that hasn't been seen in video games before. The graphics will be based on 3D scans of locations and characters.

More details are due to be revealed in January alongside a trailer and more screenshots. In the meantime, Get Even has been confirmed for next generation consoles and will be released in 2015.
