Quick catch-up: Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions
is an upcoming Spidey game from Beenox and Activision, cleverly utilising their Spider-Man license to offer four distinctly different universes across the Marvel lore. Three of the four had previously been revealed: The Amazing Spider-Man, Spider-Man Noir and Spider-Man 2099
Well now the fourth and final universe has been revealed: Ultimate Spider-Man. Image courtesy of IGN
Kitting a young Spidey out in the black Symbiote outfit and a completely cel-shaded art style, the Ultimate universe pits the player again SHIELD troops and Carnage Symbiotes, and equips him with Symbiote tendrils, web-spikes and the ability to summon black spikes from the ground. If you've played Spider-Man: Web of Shadows
(or even Prototype (Xbox 360)
for that matter), you know the drill.

Already confirmed in that tally was Norman Osbourne and Hammerhead in Noir; Scorpion and Hobgoblin in 2099; and Kraven in Amazing. Newly announced villains include Vulture in the Noir universe, and Carnage and Deadpool in Ultimate's universe.Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions
