Updated story: Major Nelson has just announced that there will be a $400 Halo: Reach Console Bundle for release. It will be released on the same date as the rest of the Halo: Reach editions hit the shelves.

Blurb from Major Nelson:
Designed by Bungie, the Xbox 360 Limited Edition Halo: Reach Bundle includes all the features of the newly designed Xbox 360 console, such as a 250 GB Hard Drive and the fastest built-in Wi-fi. Additionally, you’ll receive two Limited Edition Wireless Controllers and a standard edition copy of Halo:Reach. The bundle will be available for US $399 in limited quantities and only while supplies last.

Original story: It seems someone over at Microsoft slipped up today, and accidentally put a listing up for a new version of the brand new Xbox 360 S, but this one looks different. It's silver, with Halo: Reach detailing, and looks to be bundled with Halo: Reach (obviously) It also shares the release date of Halo: Reach, September 14th, 2010.

This is likely to be similarly done to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction, and Final Fantasy XIII bundles that were released this year, and will most likely come with two wireless controllers, both in the same finish as the console.

Either way, nothing is official yet. We'll update you with the specifics when (and if) Microsoft announces the console officially.

Halo: Reach is due out September 14th, 2010.
