Despite the fact that the Windows 8 Project Spark
beta has only been out for close to two months now, users are already making some incredible creations. So much so that Team Dakota has decided to release a new weekly video in which they highlight the three "all-stars" in terms of the best creations that they can find. The first edition of this series features a tower-defense game, a top-down, classic RPG game that has its own main and side quests, and finally a side-scrolling, 2D-platformer.
If there's anything to take away from this short video, it's that once a more broader audience gets their hands on Project Spark
, and get much more time to experiment with it, we are going to be seeing a wide variety of fantastic creations.
While the Windows 8 Project Spark
beta moves full-steam ahead, the beta for Xbox One is expected to begin sometime in mid-February. If you would like to sign up for the beta you can do so here
. The game is set for release on the Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Windows 8.
