Achievement of the Week for January 24th

By Jonathan Barnes, 2 years ago
Has it been a week already? Hopefully, you've all gotten sufficient gaming time in with January's second "Games with Gold" game, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, as it held our achievement challenge for last week. Let's see how we all did.

On January 17th, 9,458 gamers (out of 23,368 on-site) had popped the achievement.
"Return to sender" had a base score of 15G and a ratio of 1.56, giving it a TA score of 23.

Drum roll, please.
Today, on January 24th, 10,841 gamers (out of 30,169 on-site) have popped the achievement.
The achievement actually has a HIGHER ratio (due to the massive number of new starts) of 1.67, raising its TA score to 25.

As many predicted, the high number of gamers who started LCatGoL threw the ratio severely out of whack, actually RAISING it instead of lowering it. An interesting result to say the least.

But enough of this sad moping, let's move on to the NEW challenge for the week of January 24th.

Thus far, our challenges have focused on single-player shooter achievements, a multiplayer shooter achievement, an RPG achievement, and a single-player arcade achievement. This week, we're keeping things in single-player land and opting for the achievement that you, our community, voted as the winner of not one, but TWO awards in our 2013 Game of the Year Awards.

Currently, 17,853 gamers (out of 93,905 on site) have unlocked the achievement.
"Kifflom!" has a base score of 30 and a ratio of 2.29, giving it a TA score of 69.

The top solution for "Kifflom!" comes from Skuller 1O1 who has an extensive guide that also includes 170 comments. The guide starts with what could be the most important of the information:

To start the Epsilon Program missions you have to play as Michael, go to your phone, open web browser and search for EPSILON, enter www.epsilonprogram.com, scroll down to "EVALUATE YOUR IDENTITY", finish the short test and go back to your map.
Good Luck!

If you have a suggestion for an Achievement of the Week, be sure to let us know in the comments. Check back next Friday for the full report on how our community did popping this achievement as well as the announcement of our next Achievement of the Week!
