Dark Souls II New Media Bundle Released

By Andrew Ogley, 2 years ago
Just recently, we were able to bring you a plethora of media from the upcoming and eagerly anticipated Dark Souls II. Today, we have another media bundle, including the latest trailer for the title and a whole load of screenshots featuring the winning results of the shield design competition held back in May, 2013.

The short clip introduces the fate of the cursed and shows some of the brutal enemies that the player will be expected to face. As always, it doesn't seem to bode well for prospective adventurers.

Namco Bandai have also released a number of images featuring the winning designs from the shield design competition that was originally announced on the official Facebook page early last year. The shields are shown in their stand-alone designs and are also shown as they appear in the game. The lucky winners not only have the honor of having their designs featured in the title, along with full credits; they will also receive a real shield based on their designs.

NAMCO BANDAI Games and FROMSOFTWARE would like to thank the talented creators of the selected designs: Denis "DasHurz" Bachmaier, Charles Collier, Illim, Gabriel Verdon and Alexandre Etiennes Jonathan Du Cass¨. They will be credited in the game and will receive a copy of Dark Souls II Collector's Edition for their amazing contribution.
