Lionhead Presents Fable February

By Jonathan Barnes, 4 years ago
We are less than (or exactly, if you're in the right section of the world) a week away from the release of Lionhead's Fable Anniversary. Before we get in to the news surrounding the more recent releases, we've got a video showing off some of the facial animation improvements that have been made for Fable Anniversary.

Lionhead has also announced that Fable Anniversary will be available digitally on Day One through Games on Demand for $39.99 (or your regional equivalent).

Due to the "huge number of requests from our community asking for additional content at launch", Lionhead is also offering some Day One DLC in the form of a few Outfit and Weapon packs, which will all be available on Day One for half-price ($2.49 or your regional equivalent) during launch week. Here are some shiny screenshots of those packs:

Lionhead also has a freebie, in-game item for everyone to enjoy.

While many gamers are excited for their return trip to the first incarnation of Albion, Lionhead isn't content with just promoting and giving love to the HD re-release. While we teased information about The Fable Trilogy earlier this month, Lionhead is now ready to nail down some particulars on the package.

The Fable Trilogy, containing Fable Anniversary, Fable II and Fable III will be released at the same time as Fable Anniversary (February 4th in the US, February 6th in Asia, and February 7th in Europe) and will cost $59.99 (or your regional equivalent).

Finally, if you've got two of the three games and just want to round out the collection, Lionhead will be offering Fable II, and Fable III on discount the week(s) after launch. Starting on February 11th, Fable II and all of its DLC (some of which contain achievements) will be half price. The week after (February 18th), Fable III will be 50% off.

Fable Anniversary and The Fable Trilogy are set for release next week.
