LocoCycle Gets a Release Date and Contest

By Jonathan Barnes,
Put those romantic plans on hold, gamers, because Twisted Pixel is ready to drop their latest game, LocoCycle, squarely on your Valentine's Day plans. That's right, you'll be able to get your hands on the developer's newest project on February 14th on either the Xbox 360 or the Xbox One.

...but wait, there's MORE.

Twisted Pixel are also running a very special contest where one lucky gamer will win a LocoCycle Xbox 360.

360

All you need to do to enter is purchase a copy of LocoCycle on either Xbox 360 or Xbox One between February 14th and February 28th to be automatically entered in the random drawing.

Here are some details on this very-special 360:

What is it?

Not just a fancy paint job, this Xbox 360 was custom engineered to glow like I.R.I.S. from the game. With the matching controller you'll have one of the most rare and unique video game systems on the planet!

Who made it?

Ever see Jurassic Park? Terminator 2? How about The Avengers? The special effect magicians behind those awesome films work at Legacy FX, and they helped us build a real life I.R.I.S. motorcycle. It was such a fun project that they decided to make this custom Xbox too!
The bad news is that this contest is only for gamers in the U.S. who are over the age of thirteen.

LocoCycle will be released on February 14th.

My thoughts exactly. Twisted Pixel is incredibly hit or miss, and Lococycle was an incredible miss.

The wording on that website is terrible.

"Win a free loco cycle Xbox 360"

Opposed to winning a paid xbox 360. The word free isn't needed.

Anyway, I have the game on the ONE and I like the concept which interacts 'movie' style videos with gameplay but like others have said... It is a pretty crap game overall. Easy 1000G though.

Because every country has different rules about contests. It would be cost prohibitive to make the promotion available worldwide. For more info:

The sad part is no one will read that, and they'll stay the same kind of ignorant they accuse Americans of being headspin

OT : I have no interest in the game, but goddamn that is one sexy console. I almost want to buy it just for the chance to get it anyway, honestly...

despite the mediocre reviews I'm still somewhat interested in the game, but I suppose this is a slight bit of an incentive to purchase it next month loll
