Back in December, Crytek revealed
that they would be bringing their award-winning PC title, Warface
, to the 360 as a free-to-play title for Gold Members. Today, they have announced
the public beta for the game. This public beta will be available to gamers in the United States, Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Nordics, Australia, and New Zealand.
For those not in the know, Warface
is a class-based shooter that features four different classes (Rifleman, Engineer, Medic, and Sniper) and is set in the near future where Warface forces battle against the Blackwood military. Running on the CRYENGINE, Crytek has promised that when the game launches in the spring, it will receive regular content updates which include daily co-op campaign missions and a "continuous supply of new maps, weaponry, boosts and more."
If that doesn't strike your fancy, perhaps a new trailer will sway you to give some of your time.
By registering on the game's website
gamers with Gold can gain access to this public beta.
The full release of Warface
is set to happen this spring.
