Originally due for release on the September 20th, 2013, tactical shooter Takedown: Red Sabre was unexpectedly delayed at the eleventh hour due to glitches that were discovered relating to connection losses, USB saves, and party invites. Whilst the glitches were fixed and the game was resubmitted to Microsoft's certification process, it was subsequently released to Steam and received further support in the way of gameplay improvements and additions. With these extra patches also being applied to the still unreleased XBLA version, the game was delayed further, with no release date in sight.
However, publisher 505 games have now released a Tweet announcing that the game will finally be making its way to XBLA on February 21st worldwide. Pricing is unconfirmed at this time, but we can probably assume that it will match its original prices of US$14.99/£9.99/€14.39/AU$16.25/¥1500 from back in September.
