Major Nelson revealed on his blog today that the chrome series of Xbox 360 controllers would be receiving two new colors: Black and Purple.

If you're interested in picking up the black controller, it will "be available in the U.S. exclusively at Walmart and the Microsoft Store."

Those of you seeking the purple controller should be aware that it "will be available in the U.S. exclusively at Best Buy and the Microsoft Store."

Controller 1

The chrome controllers, on top of looking pretty sweet, feature the same redesigned elements that earlier chrome controllers included. These features include more grippy thumbsticks and the transforming d-pad.

These controllers will be available worldwide in March, though no exclusivity was detailed for other regions. It's set to retail for $54.99 in the US.
