We are now less than a month away from the release of Titanfall (Xbox One)
, and it's safe to say that the steady flow of information is doing a good job of whetting eager gamers' appetites. While learning about the in-game factions
, or hearing about the creation of the title
is nice, what people are probably most eagerly anticipating at this point, aside from the release itself, is the promised beta
for the game.
For those of you who want the chance to give arguably the most anticipated title of the year (thus far, at least) a test drive, beta sign ups are now open
for the Xbox One and PC versions of the game. For those interested in applying to beta test the PC version, be aware you must have an Origin account.
The beta, is set to include three game modes: Attrition, Hardpoint Domination, and Last Titan Standing. Attrition is Titanfall
's Team Deathmatch mode, where your goal is to take down everyone and everything on the opposing team. Hardpoint Domination is a mode that tasks teams to capture checkpoints. In Last Titan Standing, all players spawn with a Titan. The first team to lose all their Titans loses the game.
The beta is set to launch on February 14th. If you are selected for the Beta, you will know by no later than February 17th at 11:59PM PST. No word was given on a beta for the 360 version of the game at this time.Titanfall
is scheduled for release on Xbox One and PC on March 11th for North America and March 13th for Europe.
