So, Fatal Labyrinth
. For those of who have never heard of Fatal Labyrinth
, it was a RPG of sorts that had you trekking through a 30-floor dungeon consisting of randomly generated floors, monsters, items, food, and other various RPG essentials. You play a nameless hero and your only goal is to defeat the dragon on the 30th floor and reclaim the Holy Goblet. It was the first roguelike game I had ever played, but at the time, my attention span was too short to fully appreciate it.
Well, it looks like I might just have a second chance at that, as well as to earn some achievements along with it. The ESRB released the rating for Fatal Labyrinth
, but in addition to it's Wii and PC ports of the game, it states that the ESRB rated the game for 360 and PS3 as well, possibly hinting at a release on the XBLA.
Or, if you don't wait for it to be released on XBLA, you can always pick up Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection
, which includes many Sega Genesis games, including Fatal Labyrinth
At any rate, wait for Sega to give official word on the impending port of the beloved roguelike.
